As computers play an increasingly important role in our future, we developed a workshop that introduces children to the basics of coding and scripting.

With TripCode, we taught children aged 10–12 how to code their own space rocket. By the end of the workshop, students could launch a rocket they had designed and programmed themselves.

As shown in the video, we tested the workshop with a Dutch primary school class, and the students responded with great enthusiasm. Although the project website is no longer online, feel free to contact me for more information about TripCode.
