Contest Against Corona
From 23 November until 11 December 2020, young people in Africa got the chance to digitally fight against the coronavirus. It was educative, easy, and fun: all they had to do was to join a multiplayer quiz game on COVID-19, which was available in English, French, and Arabic. By participating, they could build up valuable corona knowledge and compete with and against others. Participants could join as an individual, as part of a team, or with an entire organization. By participating, the players gained knowledge on how to prevent becoming infected with the coronavirus and what to do if they or one of their relatives still got infected. By using this knowledge in the game, they could win nice prizes.

My role in this challenge was to design the logo and the video elements at the beginning and the end of the event. The event was organized by atingi, which is a free digital e-learning platform for youth in Africa. I was part of the atingi team during my time working for the Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). The contest can be reached via this link.
